In reading this week we worked on using evidence from the text to infer themes. We used a book called, "Cheyenne Again" to complete this lesson. In science we did an experiment showing how the digestive system works. We observed how our digestive system breaks down food and nutrients. We had lots of fun this week!

We've gone from project to project and have had so much fun! We go outside and learn lots of cool facts about the human body. We've used lots and lots of sticky notes for reading, and we've been thinking hard, posting ideas, and learning a ton of cool new reading strategies. By: Dani And Francesca

We learned about how to keep your body healthy and how the muscular and skeletal systems work together to move your bones. We also made limbs out of different materials like paper towel rolls, balloons, paper clips, rubber bands, cardboard, and lots of tape! We had a really fun week of science, and we are totally excited to do more!
