We spent our reading workshop time last week examining common themes in fiction texts. Students explored how to determine the theme of a story, and use evidence from the text to support their opinion. Additionally, students compared and contrasted Because of Mr. Terupt and Towers Falling.
WRITERS' WORKSHOP:
Last week our writers had the opportunity to share their published stories! We all enjoyed hearing the amazing creations from our class! WOW...such an incredible group of talented writers we have!!
